The first thing you'll notice about Cassandra is that she doesn't speak with confidence. (When she first enters the Bar, she won't speak at all.) We don't mean that she isn't a confident person; we mean she isn't confident in her ability to use words. She never knew any language but violence until she was in her late teens.

This means she can read your pup's body language like - well, we'd say an open book, but those she's not so hot at. She can, canonically, tell if someone is lying or telling the truth, or what they're thinking about. She can tell, if someone shoots a gun at her, where the bullet will go.

And she can dodge it in time. Her martial arts skills are phenomenal; she's currently the best hand-to-hand fighter in the DC universe.

In appearance, she's not so intimidating. Her father was David Cain, assassin extraordinaire, and her mother Lady Shiva Wu-San, of unspecified Asian descent. Cass looks like any other teenage girl. Probably. Since she speaks with her body, it's entirely possible she's just doing that to fool you ...
